A group of 30 talented actors, under the direction of Donald Schneider, brought the eight episodes of Vein of Silver to life. Karl Bockemeier has acted professionally in Chicago and less intensely in New Salem, Illinois, portraying such characters as Abraham Lincoln and Charles Lindbergh, He holds a bachelor’s degree in speech from Illinois College and a master’s degree in acting from the University of Illinois. He works as a teacher and is married with two children.

David Edwards is a retired special education teacher and keeps busy by renovating the Victorian home where he and his wife reside. He has been acting, singing and building sets for community theater in Illinois since 1976.
Leona Edwards is a retired sixth-grade and music teacher. She is a musician who has performed in community theater for three decades and is now developing a circus history museum on Petersburg, Illinois.

Greg Floyd has been acting since the first grade and has had the pleasure of portraying such characters as Huckleberry Finn and Puck. When not on stage, he is a deposit operations officer for Illinois National Bank.
Patrick Foster is an attorney in Springfield, Illinois, where he has appeared in radio productions of A Christmas Carol and It’s A Wonderful Life.

Shannon Keith Kelley earned a master’s degree in theater from Ohio University more than three decades ago and is a playwright, actor, and director. Bruce Kellogg is an award-winning journalist who has worked for newspapers in four states. An honors graduate of Yale University, he enjoys fast motorcycles and fine whisky, but not at the same time. He is married with three dogs, three cats, three lizards and two snakes.

In 2001 he founded Moiety Enterprises, a one man digital arts company to showcase his talents in design, music, photography, writing, and more.
