Vein of Silver: Cross of Blood traces the infamous thirty pieces of silver given to Judas of Kerioth, the notorious disciple of Jesus, across the ages to the present day.
The story begins with Cornelius Lucius Strabo, a young Roman tribune, recently assigned to the province of Palestine. He arrives just as the governor, Pontius Pilate, and the Roman garrison in Caesarea march inland to Jerusalem to maintain the peace during the fateful Passover festival of April, 30 A.D.
The silver coins of Judas are traced through time to present day where the story of Cornelius, the coins, and the simple carpenter from Nazareth continue to be irrevocably linked and have present day consequences.
A cast of thirty talented actors, over two hours of original music, and thousands of ambient sound effects bring the eight episodes of Cornelius Lucius Strabo's story to life.
The radio drama retells the tale of the historical section of the novel Vein of Silver: Cross of Blood in amazing, at times visceral detail.
Listener discretion advised on some episodes.
